CCB simultaneously raided five institutions,One held for issuing fake Marks cards,6800 fake Marks cards,22 laptops,&13 mobile phones seized in bust

he CCB police have raided five institutions which were giving fake mark sheets of different courses of different universities in the state and outside the state.

The CCB team raided Quest Technologies in Rajajinagar,System Quest in J.P. Nagar,Aruhi Institute in Bhadrappa Layout,Vishwajyoti College in Dasarahalli and Benaka Correspondence College in Vijayanagar were raided and Vikas Bhagwat was arrested, who were giving fake mark sheets in the name of education consultancy.

The arrested has been identified as Vikas Bhagath, 52, managing director of Systems Quest Private Limited. The firm was incorporated on December 9, 2004 and listed as a computer-related services company.

More than 6800 fake mark sheets seized

The CCB police, which had earlier raided the fake mark sheet network, had launched a special operation based on the information of the accused.

Accordingly, raids were conducted on five institutions which were issuing fake mark sheets and during verification, 6846 fake mark sheets of fifteen different universities including Annamalai University, Sikkim University, Geetham University, Kuvempu University, Jain Vihar University, Mangalore University, Bangalore University were found in the accused institutions.

After receiving the information that the mark sheets were sent to the respective universities,the CCB police issued notices to the owners of the accused institutes.

The fact that marks sheets of old years have also been found without being given to anyone has led to a lot of suspicion.

It is possible that some people may have got posts and promotions using fake marks sheets and an investigation is being carried out.

City Police Commissioner CH Pratap Reddy said that if there is any such information about any such educational institutions, let them know.

Currently, 22 laptops, 1 printer, 13 mobile phones from the accused organizations have been seized.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Dr SD Sharanappa,DCP Crime-1,Yathish Chandra N,ACP,Smt.Reena Suvarna,PIs,as,Hazaresh Khilladhar,Smt.Durga,Chandrakala MB,and other PIs,and crime staff who has done a exemplary and meticulous investigation in busting the racket by conducting simultaneous raids a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
