Notorious Bike lifter arrested by Banashankari police, Recovered 14 Stolen bikes Worth Rs.10 Lakhs

The Banashankari police have arrested a 31-year-old bike lifter and recovered 14 bikes worth Rs.10 lakh which he had stolen from in and around the city .

The accused has been identified as Yaseen from Subramanyapura.

Based on a bike theft complaint,the Banashankari police crime staff analyzed the CCTV footage and arrested the accused.

After arresting the accused Yaseen he told the police that he was using duplicate keys and sometimes break hand lock to steal the bikes .

Probe revealed that the accused was also involved in robbery and house break thefts in Talaghattapura,a senior officer said.
