Telangana CS Someshkumar Cadre Allotment Controversy State High Court has issued a key verdict. His continuation in the state was cancelled.
Hyderabad: Telangana CS Someshkumar faced a setback in the state high court. The High Court has given a crucial verdict on the cadre allotment dispute. The High Court has set aside the earlier orders passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) in this matter. In Telangana, CS Someshkumar’s continuation has been cancelled. The high court rejected the plea of his lawyer to stay the execution of the verdict for 3 weeks to allow him to appeal.
During the bifurcation of the state, Somesh Kumar was assigned to AP by the central government. In the past, CAT had issued an order to suspend the order and allow him to continue in Telangana. Someshkumar continues in Telangana with those orders. In 2017, the Center approached the High Court to quash the CAT order. The High Court CJ Justice Ujjal Bhuyan bench which investigated this has issued the latest orders.
