Decomposed body of a young woman found in a chemical-filled drum at Yesvantpur railway station

A woman’s decomposed body was found inside a plastic drum at a railway station in Bengaluru on Wednesday morning.

The highly decomposed body was Lying inside the container under a huge pile of clothes,the body was found on Platform 1 of Yesvantpur railway station.

Senior officer told reporters,The cleaning staff at Yeshwanthpur Railway Station came to RPF post and informed that,One plastic drum on Platform No.01 is foul smelling.

Immediately RPF and GRP staff rushed to spot and opened the drum filled with lot of clothes and found decomposed body of a woman inside it, strangulated in a
dupatta.

Immediately SP,Railways,Dr SK Soumyalatha, immediately rushed to Scene of crime team,with FSL team and dog squad visited the spot.

In this regard a case has been registered in
Bangalore Rural Railway Police Station, Yeshwanthpur Crime no.02/2023 U/s 302,201 IPC.

Appearance of Deceased : Female, aged about 30 years, 5 feet height.normal built,-decomposed body.Black & White chudidar top,White leggings,White dupatta and wearing toe ring.

Efforts are on to trace the unidentified body is carried out.Requested to report any information regarding this unidentified female body if any missing case registered.
