State to present its case in SC effectively

Asked about the statements by the Maharashtra leaders on releasing water from their state to Karnataka, the CM said this has been said by members of the Opposition party.

All three rivers run through three to four states and all inter-state rivers are governed by the Inter-State Water Disputes Act.

There may be differences of opinion among the states but such statements must not be issued as such irresponsible statements are not of any help.

The Maharashtra leaders are making provocative statements which are not implementable. There will be mutual friendship among the states.
