Notorious Robber targetting lonely passengers in bus stand arrested by upparpet Police recovered stolen valuables worth Rs.3.5 Lakhs

The Upparpet police on Sunday arrested a 36-year-old habitual offender and recovered valuables worth Rs.3.5 lakh from him.

The accused identified as Siddiq Khan,from Kunigal would move around bus stand to identify gullible passengers who are careless about their luggage and travel with them.

He would taking advantage of the situation steal the valuables and escape.

Based on a two theft cases reported back to back,the police inspector Vasanth S H formed a special team and kept a watch at the bus stand before zeroing in on Siddiq.

The police have charged him under two theft cases and investigating further to ascertain his possible involvement in other cases .

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,DCP,West,Laxman B Nimbargi,ACP,KC Giri,PI, Vasanth SH,PSI,Ravi A,and crime staff as,Shivaraju S,Praveen BK,Jayachandra,Mohan M,Rajkumar,Panduranga Biradar,Sathish Patel,Veeresh,Jayshankar,and others has been appreciated for their excellent work in nabbing the duo and recovering the Stolen valuables from him a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
