Two Post graduate student killed and one injured in freak road accident in Yelahanka

Two students pursuing post graduate course in National Institute of Fashion Technology,while another injured when they lost control over the motorcycle in freak accident while they were riding triple on the flyover near Raitha Santhe on Saturday morning.

The deceased have been identified as,Amol Pramod Amte,29,from Maharastra and Amith Singh from new Delhi .

The rider of the motorcycle,Sourav Deb,28,from Rajasthan sustained injuries and said to be out of danger.

The trio student of the NIFT college in HSR layout,borrowed motorcycle from Sourav Deb’s brother and rode triple to Nandi hills .

On the way back,Sourav riding the bike in rash and negligent manner failed to notice the side stand which touched a cement block and lost control.

The bike rammed into the parapet wall while Amol and Amith riding pillion tossed up in the air and fell off the flyover crashed on the road below.

Passers-by rushed the injured to a near-by hospital where the doctors declared Amol as brought dead,while Amith succumbed to his injuries later.

Sourav Deb who was wearing helmet and fell off the bike on the flyover along with the bike escaped with minor injuries on his head and hand.

The Yelahanka traffic police have registered a case against Sourav Dev charging him under death due to negligence (304A),an act of rash or negligent to endanger human life,or the personal safety of others (338) and under Rash driving or riding on a public way (279) of the IPC for further investigations.

This is the second such incident as a 33-year-old techie from Andhra Pradesh died after losing his balance and falling from Bengaluru’s Electronic City flyover on Monday morning.
