Mamata Banerjee assured help tothe relatives of the devastated by Harapa Ban in Mal River

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:The Chief Minister visited the homes of the families of those who died in the accident while dumping the goods in river Mal. He was accompanied by Chief Secretary Harikrishna Dwivedi, Minister Arup Biswas.At around 4:30 in the afternoon, the Chief Minister first went to the houses of Soumya Adhikari and Tapan Adhikari in Ward No. 10 area of ​​Malbazar. She has  assured to stand by the  side of the family members. A total number of  8 people died in Harpa Ban. Mamata Banerjee met all the families.After meeting the bereaved, the Chief Minister said, “The festival was spent with joy by all.” but sometimes disaster strikes to some families and it destroyed happiness. In the words of the Chief Minister, “those who worked, starting from DM, SP, Disaster Response Force and locals named  Buluchik, Swapan, Manik , Darasingh and others –around 450 people were saved with the help of all.” I am very grateful to them. In this way, if the children of the neighborhood come forward to help others  in critical times, many lives will be rescued.
