After his political entry, Rahul visited his father’s memorial for the first time
Chennai: The ‘Bharat JodoYatra’, which is being undertaken by the Congress party to bring the people of the country together and to show that there is a strong non-BJP force in the country, will begin on Wednesday. The party’s top leader and MP Rahul Gandhi will lead the march which will continue from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. In this context, before the start of the yatra, Rahul paid tribute to his father, former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
Rahul visited Rajiv’s memorial at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday morning. First, Rahul planted a sapling in the premises of this memorial. Later, flowers were laid at Rajiv’s portrait. Later participated in prayer meeting. Rahul was accompanied by Congress leaders DK Shivakumar, KS Alagiri and others. This is Rahul’s first visit to his father’s memorial after entering politics. Rahul posted this photo on his Twitter. Now I don’t want to lose my country either. Love conquers hate. Hope conquers fear. Rahul wrote that if we are all united we can overcome anything.

Rahul will formally launch the ‘Bharat JodoYatra’ at 4.30 pm on Wednesday. This evening they will reach Kanyakumari and participate in a meeting organized at Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam there. The trip will formally begin with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin presenting the national flag to Rahul. The padayatra will start from Thursday morning. As part of this trip, Rahul will walk a total of 3570 kilometers across 12 states and 2 Union Territories. On this occasion, Congress said on Twitter that this is a key development and a new chapter in the country’s politics
