A FIR under Pocso has been registered against the Murugha Mutt seer and truth will come after investigation,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Talking to reporters near his residence here on Sunday,he said the police are given free hand to probe this case.Once the investigation is done,truth will be come out.This is an important case and a Pocso case too.
A case of kidnapping has been registered in Chitradurga.Both the cases are being investigated by police.
Under this circumstances it is not right on his part to talk or comment on this case from the investigation angle.
He said a video conferencing will take place this evening with the deputy Commissioners of those districts which have recorded the heaviest rain.
He would take stock of the situation and decide on giving additional compensation.
Ganeshotsava in Idgah maidan
Replying to a question,Bommai said there is no controversy over Idgah maidan in Chamarajapet in Bengaluru.
In regard to celebrating Ganeshotsava in the ground,Revenue Minister R.Ashok had held a meeting with senior officers.Applications are being examined and after that suitable decision will be taken,he added.
