Probe into drug case arrest of Notorious Gangster Kullu Rizwan by KG Nagar Police helps Kengeri police crack brutal murder case

While probing the drug case after arresting notorious gangster,Kullu Rizwan,by the KG Nagar police helped their Kengeri counterparts to crack the brutal murder case of a 26-year-old man near NICE underpass on June 18.

Senior officer told reporters,Kullu Rizwan,a notorious gangster wanted in over 20 criminal cases was on the run after his name cropped up in a drug smuggling case .

The KG Nagar police pursued him and managed to arrest him in Shivamogga where he was hiding.

During the probe the police stumbled upon a video clip of a brutal murder case and further inquiries it was revealed that Rizwan’s associate had murdered a youth in Kengeri and sent a video recording of the murder to get appreciation from him.

Rizwan told the police that the deceased later identified Hemanth Kumar was celebrating his birthday with his friends when he passed a comment on rowdism and gangsters .

He was resident of Gollahalli in Hemmigepura.he used to work in private firm used to pant vehicle licence plates.

He ventured out of the house with friends to celebrate his birthday and gathered at an isolated place on NICE road junction to drink .

Meanwhile Rizwan’s gang members were passing-by at the same time heard him and objected to his statement.

Heated argument ensued following which the gang members chased Hemanth killed him brutally by smashing his head with a boulder and stabbing repeatedly,while his friends scared by this ran helter skelter .

The Kengeri police had no clue about the youth’s identity as they couldn’t find any paper or near the body.

However, a tattoo on his right arm helped in identification.

Police suspected that friends might have killed him but with the video clip in Kullu Rizwan mobile phone revealed the accused and the intention of murder,the kengeri police have registered a case of murder and looking out for the Rizwan’s associates .

Rizwan who had a big gang of around 100 men wanted to take over his arch rivals cycle Ravi and Bakery Raghu and made few attempts earlier but in vain.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West, Sandeep Patil,DCPs,as,P Krishnakant,Laxman B Nimbargi,ACPs,as,BL Srinivasmurthy, Kodandarama T,PIs,as,Rakshith,Vasanth C and their whole crime staff who has done a exemplary and commendable job in nabbing the Notorious Gangster Kullu Rizwan who was wanted in dozens of criminal cases and with his arrest a clueless brutal murder of private firm employee cracked by Kengeri police a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
