Cab driver killed in road accident

A 24-year-old cab driver was killed on the spot when he lost control over the vehicle jumped median before colliding with a KSRTC bus coming from the opposite direction on airport road in the early hours of Thursday.

The deceased Lohith Prasad,24 years,native of magadi in Ramanagara district was pursuing his LLB final year at VV puram college in the day and working as cab driver in night .

Senior officer said,Lohith was heading to pick up passengers at the airport at around 3.15 am when he lost control over at BSF camp junction and rammed into the median before colliding with the bus coming from mantralaya.

The car was completely damaged and Lohith was killed on the spot.

The Yelahanka traffic police rushed to the spot and cleared the accident spot to allow the traffic movement .

The Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving for further investigations.
