Kidnapping case cracked in 3 hours,kidnapped student rescued safely by Yelahanka police,Four Kidnappers including Businessman arrested

In a swift action the Yelahanka police on tuesday arrested 43-year-old businessman and three of his associates for kidnapping a private college student to recover the money from his father.

The accused has been identified as,Ramesh Rathod,from Kalburgi,Rizwan Patel,23,Indrajith Pawar,23 and Harish Kumar,24 from Kalburgi were arrested with the help of Chitradurga counterparts .

Senior officer told reporters,The accused approached the victim studying in a private college accusing him of harassing a girl and forced him in a car on the pretext of inquiry and drove away.

When the accused reached Tumakuru and stopped the car for a break,the victim managed to escape and went to the police.

The police later handed him over to Yelahanka police who swung into action and tracked down the accused near Chitradurga and arrested them within few hours.

Inquiries revealed that Ramesh Rathod have had business tied with the victims father and the duo used to sell pulses to Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra.

The duo had a financial difference and Ramesh claimed that victim father owned him Rs.3 crore , which was denied by later.

Enraged by this Ramesh hatched a plan to Abduct his son studying in a city based college to recover the money.

The police have seized two SUV cars the accused were using and further investigating to ascertain the possible involvement of others in the crime.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP East,A subramanyeshwara Rao,DCP Northeast,Dr Anoop A Shetty,and his whole team for their Swift action in nabbing the four kidnappers and rescuing safely the student a suitable reward will be given to whole team for their excellent and meticulous investigation he added.
