Rohat Town police arrested absconding fifth accused in chamarajpet Businessman murder case recovered 1.4kg gold & 14 lakhs cash

The rohat town police have arrested the fifth accused of Jugraj jain murder case and recovered 1.4 kgs of gold valuables and 14 lakh from him.

The accused has been identified as,Om Ram of Devasi town.

Senior officer said,The accused Omaram resident of Devasi town tried to escape after noticing police is approaching him but Devasi police team led by Amrut soni chased and pinned him down on Friday.

Omaram has been handed over to chamarajapet police in Bengaluru for further investigation.

The accused had brutally murdered jugraj jain at his apartment and escaped with gold and cash in May 24 this year .

While the other accused arrested in Goa and Gujrath different parts of country,the accused Omaram was arrested from his hometown.

The prime accused Bijaram joined the work as domestic help and used stay at the cellar of the apartment.

He planned to kill Jugraj and loot the valuables and on the fateful day,when Jugraj had his dinner and asked the cook and Bijaram to go home.Bijaram stayed back and waited for the cook to leave.

Later Bijaram threw chilli powder at Jugraj when he was in toilet abd strangled him using the dhoti Jugraj was wearing before gagging his mouth , and tying his hands and legs.

The accused later called his associates waiting outside took the gold and cash in the bags and escaped..

With this all the five accused has been arrested and the murder case has been cracked by chamarajpet police and further investigation is on to recover the remaining property he added.
