Former Karnataka DGP Raghavendra Auradkar is now Adminstrative officer of KSAT

Retired IPS officer Raghavendra Auradkar has been appointed as administrative officer for Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal.

President Ram Nath Kovind has issued an order to this effect.

Auradkar is probably the first IPS officer selected for the post.

Considering his experience,profile and being the officer who studied and submitted report to recommend remuneration for the police personnel in the state on par with the neighbouring counterparts.

Though his report was highly appreciated and assured to implement part of his report could only be recommended.His reports could have overhauled the police system if implemented comprehensively.

The appointment according to the order for the period of 4 years or his completion of 67 years whichever comes first.

The tribunal is headed by RB Budihal and it’s judicial members as Narayana,T Narayana Swamy,RB Satyanarayana singh and administrative members as retired IAS Latha Krishna Rao,SK Pattanayak and N shivashailam.

Raghavendra Auradkar had served as Bengaluru City Police Commissioner a few years ago and held several top positions in the Police Department.
