A 25-year-old newly married software engineer found dead at her house in Subramanya Nagar on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Anju,native of Chikmagaluru
senior officer told reporters,The deceased Anju was married to Anjan Kaniyar, a four months ago.It was a love marriage.
The family alleged that Anju had complained to them about the harassment from in laws a fortnight ago.
On Saturday when the parents tried to call her the phone was not reachable .
Later they were informed that she ended her life by hanging.The family is now alleged that she had been tortured by her in-laws which led to the extreme step .
The police have registered a case of un-natural death and awaiting for post mortem report to ascertain the cause of death and to take further action.
