Three including Toddler killed in head-on collision between SUV and KSRTC bus in outskirts of Bengaluru

Three persons including a six months old baby boy was killed and two others injured when a SUV they were travelling collided head on with a KSRTC bus in the outskirt of Sathanur on Saturday morning.

The decease have been identified as Manoj, driver of the SUV,Akshatha,27 and her six months old son Sumanth.

The injured Sudhindra and his relative sustained injuries and are recovering in a hospital.

Senior officer with others rushed to spot and after collecting information he told reporters, the injured Sudhindra,a cashier at a restaurant in Kanakpura had gone to his native Udupi along with his family last week and returning to work .

While the SUV reached Kemmallidoddi village in the outskirt of Sathanur , the driver in a rash and negligent manner collided with the KSRTC bus .

The impact of the accident was so high,that the car was mangled and the victim stuck inside the vehicle.

Passers-by rushed to the help and pulled out the victims and shifted them to the hospital before alerting the Sathanur police .

The police have taken up a case and are investigating.
