Notorious Rowdy-sheeter Onti Kai Venkatesh arrested Under Goonda Act remanded to judicial custody

The South Division police of Siddapura police on Thursday arrested a 28-year-old notorious rowdy sheeter under Goonda Act .

The accused a notorious Rowdy-Sheeter identified as,aOnti kai Venkatesh.

Senior officer told media persons,waving over half a dozen criminal cases pending against him is presently out on bail,but continued his criminal activities,based on which the Siddapura police Inspector A Raju filed a detailed report and submitted to the commissioner through DCP, south division and arrested him under goonda act.

The accused Venkatesh who lost his left arm in a gang war continue to commit criminal activities including drug peddling,extortion,robberies and bootlegging activities in and around the south division.

He was part of many gangs and despite being on bail,he would threaten the witnesses with dire consequences to discourage them from deposing before the court against him, a police officer said.

He was not only involved in serious criminal activities causing law and order issues but also creating fear psychosis among the people .

When several reminders and warnings did not yield any results to keep him under control,the police arrested him under a goonda act under which he would not be granted bail for the next one year .

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,DCP South,Harish Pandey,PI,A Raju and his team for the swift action against the Notorious Rowdy-Sheeter and booked him under goonda act and for the excellent work done by the team a special reward will be given to the team he added.
