Armed gang robbed a home alone woman and an elderly couple in separate incidents on Friday and made away with valuables from them in two separate incidents.
The first incident reported in Chandra Nagar in KS Layout when Chitra,56,was alone at the two storeyed house.
The accused barged into the house threatened her with lethal weapons and forced her to remove gold valuables she was wearing.
The accused even took money from the pooja room and escaped.
Chitra raised alarm prompting her daughter staying in the first floor of the house rushed to her help.
The KS Layout police have taken up a case of robbery and are analyzing CCTV footage to identify the accused .
In another incident,two armed men barged into the house of elderly couple threatened them and made away with cash RS.15,000 and 95 grams worth gold valuables.in Krishnamurthy layout in Sudduguntepalya.
Satish,65,was at his house with wife when he heard door bell ringing at around 9.15 pm.
Since he was expecting relatives,he went to check.The accused barged into the house,threatened the couple with lethal weapon not to shout and robbed valuables and escaped .
The couple raised alarm as soon as the duo escape following which the neighbours rushed to their help and alerted the police .
The control room sounded alert as soon as the incident reported and stepped up patrolling special teams formed to nab the armed robbers and investigation is on.
