Six armed bikers rob Three men in 3 different incidents special team of Banaswadi police station are on alert & patrolling enhanced

The Banasawadi police have stepped up patrolling especially in the night to track down a gang of six armed bikers who have robbed three men at knife point in the wee hours of Friday.

Senior officer told media persons,The Banaswadi police are analyzing CCTV footage and activated local intelligence network to identify the gang which is giving nightmare to the police.

The gang first targetted Jayasheelan,50,a private firm employee while he was going to prayer hall on oil mill road at around 4 am.The gang intercepted him assaulted and robbed mobile and Rs.6000 at knife point .

While he was walking he met another man identified as Deepak HP, 45, who was also robbed by the same gang ,few yards away from the first incident.

Meanwhile the gang striked and confronted Shankruthi Gopi,30,egg shop owner who was unloading the eggs from truck on Kammanahalli main road.

The accused assaulted him and robbed cash and his mobile phone before assaulting him when he tried to resist the robbery .

We suspect that after the series of robberies, the accused went underground for sometime a special team has been formed to nab the six armed bikers who has giving sleepless nights to people and nightmare to police a case is registered and further investigation is on.
