A 17 year old girl was killed and two others injured when the scooter they were riding lost control while negotiation a bad patch of the road and came under the moving truck on magadi road on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Nubiya,17,an eight standards student and resident of Goripalya.
Two days ago,C Krishnappa,a 57-year-old sub-inspector with the excise department, had died at the same spot on Wednesday afternoon. A truck had run over him killing him on the spot.
Police said the trio was returning from Tavarekere when the incident occurred at around 10.40 am when they were passing near Madhava Hospital in Chikkagollarahatti near Kachohalli Cross.
It is alleged that Ahran lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a pothole and the trio fell from the scooter.A speeding truck coming from the rear ran over Nubia crashed her to death and hit the two others.
Passers by rushed to their help and shifted the injured to hospital .
Nubiya was later dragged out from under the truck and taken to hospital for post mortem.
This is the third such incident on the same stretch of road in chikkagollarahalli as a police constable and sub inspector attached to excise department were killed in similar accidents earlier.
Despite repeated accidents the civic authorities failed to repair the road,which becomes impossible to motarable especially during rainy season.

ho have registered a case,and are investigating further and it is alleged that the rider is minor and madanayakanahalli police failed to take action against him.
