A 26-year-old employee of a tech company was thrashed by an agitated mob after he crashed his speeding vehicle into a series of vehicles on BEL road on wednesday night .
The accused identified as Alexander,resident of Kammanahalli was working as a software engineer.
He was interrogated by traffic police before they filed a case against him and also seized the vehicle and Driving License.
According to the police,the incident occurred around evening and Alexander had gone to a pub at BEL road to attend a party with his office colleagues.He had consumed alcohol and was on the way to drop a female friend to her house.
He lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a series of vehicles.Passers-by who witnessed the incident thrashed him and alerted the police.
The police found him to be under the influence of alcohol and seized the vehicle.However,he has not filed a case against anyone about being beaten up said a senior police officer.
