Yeshwanthpur RTO road to be widened

A joint site inspection was conducted concerning road widening project near Yeswanthpur RTO complex.Special commissioners,Basavaraj, Reddy Shankara Babu,Manoj Jain,Zonal Joint Commissioners,Nagaraj,Shivaswamy,Head, Engineering department,Prabhakar,Prahlad,Chief Engineer, Road Infrastructure department and others were present.

The officials have been instructed to begin the project immediately, said Minister for Horticulture, Planning Programme Monitoring & Statistics Department Shri Munirathna.

Speaking after the inspection, he said that the project is being taken up to ease traffic congestion and help citizens coming to railway station and market.

Along with this work, a 400-bed Covid hospital is being set up, the inauguration of which will be held soon, he informed.

Minister for Higher Education,Dr C Ashwath Narayan said that the project will benefit the citizens residing in this area.

Measures will be taken to ensure the road is of better quality and causes no inconvenience for vehicular traffic and those going to railway station. A blueprint for the same will be prepared and implement, he said.

BBMP Chief Commissioner,Gaurav Gupta said that several measures are being taken up at Yeswanthpur RTO complex for the benefit of the public.

The officials have been instructed to prepare a detailed project report and estimated cost. He said the project would be taken up rapidly once the processes related to the project are completed.
