Ugandan woman caught red handed while selling MDMA drugs,11.5 grams MDMA seized

Jeevanbhimanagar police caught a 36-year-old woman from Uganda red handed while selling MDMA publicly on 100ft road on Saturday.

The accused has been identified as,Tusime Sharon a Ugandan national .

Senior officer told media persons,Based on a tip off,a team of police led by B Rajanna,Inspector and his team rushed to the spot near Nandana hotel on 100 feet road and caught Tusime Sharon,red handed and after a thorough examination the team recovered 11.5 grams of MDMA powder stuffed in many small packets were recovered from her handbag.

The total worth of seized drugs estimated to be around Rs.50,000.Probe revealed that she had come to Bengaluru in tourist visa in 2017 and never returned.

During interrogation the accused told the officials that she had bought the drugs from a person in Majestic and selling it to his customers.Sharon was booked under NDPS and remanded to judicial custody and efforts are on trace her source of drugs he added.
