Karnataka govt orders transfer of 12 IPS officers

The Karnataka government on Wednesday,June 9 ordered the transfer of 12 IPS officers.

Bengaluru District,SP,Ravi D Channannavar is among the 12 IPS officers transferred by the state government on Wednesday.

Ravi D Channanavar has been transferred as SP, Criminal Investigation Department,(CID),while Kona Vamsi Krishna,SP,Tumakuru has been transferred as SP,Bengaluru district .

SP of Coastal Security Police (CSP) R Chethan is posted as SP of Mysuru district replacing CB Ryshyanth,who is posted as Davanagere SP.

Kolar SP,Karthik Reddy is transferred as SP, Wireless,Bengaluru replacing Adduru Srinivasulu, who is posted as DCP (Law & Order) of Kalaburagi city.

Rahul Kumar Shahapurwad,who is serving in the CID,posted as SP of Tumakuru district.

Davanagere SP,Hanumantharaya has been transferred as Haveri SP replacing KG Devaraju, who is transferred to the CID.

Meanwhile,AN Prakash Gowda,who was DCP (Law & Order),Mysuru city,is transferred to the Internal Security Division (ISD).He is replaced by ISD,SP Pradeep Gunti.

Dekka Kishore Babu,DCP (Law & order) of Kalaburagi City,has been posted as SP,Kolar district.

The post of Superintendent of Police,Wireless Bengaluru and Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Law and Order ) Kalburagi city has been declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of SP Mandya district,Mandya, according to the officials release.
