Duo held for Vandalising hospital in Bengaluru:

The West Division police of Kengeri police on Tuesday arrested two persons who assaulted the security guard of BGS hospital and abused the doctor and damaged the property by hurling stone at the glass doors of hospital and shattering them on Sunday

The accused has been identified as,Prashanth, 39,a driver by profession and his relative Venkatesh, 32,

Senior officer told media persons,we have arrested two persons for creating Mayhem at the BGS hospital who has damaged the hospital property and assaulted doctors and hospital staff.

The duo created ruckus after they were not allowed to visit their relative who was admitted in the hospital for covid treatment .

The duo alleged that they were not allowed to visit their relatives for the last four days and abused and beat up the security guard who stopped them from entering the hospital.

The duo later used unparliamentary language against the doctors and smashed the glass doors with a stone and created a tense situation.

The hospital authorities immediately intimated the Kengeri police inspector, Inspector Vasanth and his team rushed to the spot and nabbed to duo and took them to station for further questioning.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and said that they engaged in assault with the hospital staff and doctors as they were not allowing them in to meet a relative. They have been booked for a case of assault,vandalising hospital property and also under sections of the NDMA and further investigation is on.
