ARMY IN GUJARAT FULLY GEARED TO PROVIDE ALL ASSISTANCE – CYCLONE TAUKTAE

GUJARAT: WITH THE IMPENDING LANDFALL OF EXTREMELY SEVERE CYCLONIC STORM FORECASTED BY MET DEPT, ARMY IN GUJARAT IS FULLY PREPARED WITH ALMOST 180 TEAMS READY ALONGWITH ELEMENTS OF COMMUNICATION AND ENGINEER TASK FORCES TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND ALL KIND OF ASSISTANCE WITH COVID PROTOCOLS.

THE MAXIMUM IMPACT IS LIKELY TO BE IN SAURASHTRA INCLUDING UNION TERRITORY OF DIU – ACCORDINGLY APPROX 60 INTEGRATED TEAMS ARE POISED TO BE EMPLOYED IN AID TO CIV AUTHORITY THERE- 6 TEAMS EACH ARE BEING STAGED FORWARD TO DIU AND PORBANDER WHILE STATE ADM ANALYSIS SIT AS IT BUILDS UP.
