Former MLA gets threat calls demanding ransom:

The case of Family members of former Bharathinagar MLA Rajanna being issued a threat calls has taken a new twist as the Pulakeshinagar Police has now filed an FIR.

Earlier a complaint was filed as a Non Cognizible Report.

The threat call by an unknown person to Manoj Kumar, Director and Head,Hitachi Rail STS,India and his wife Gaja Manoj and his sister-in-law Pankaja has taken a serious twist.

The complainants in their complaint have said that the unknown caller demanded money from the family members and has warned them of dire consequences if they fail to pay him money

Manoj Kumar,son in law of the former MLA,in his complaint said that he had a series of miss calls on his mobile.

In his written complaint,the complainant said that the caller called from the number,85490 06443 seven times at around 1.14 pm,4 calls from 1:20 pm and thrice at 1.30 pm.

When we received the phone calls at around 15.30 hours,the caller verbally abused me,my wife Gaja Manoj and my sister-in-law Pankaja and demanded money,he said in his complaint and added,failing to pay up,the caller warned us that we will be killed he said in his complaint.The complainant has demanded the police to provide them protection.Further investigations is on.
