CCB arrests two Notorious Nigerian Nationals Drug peddlers,Seized Drugs worth Rs 15 lakh:

The Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime branch officials arrested two Nigerian nationals and seized Cocaine and Ecstasy worth around Rs 15 lakh from their possession.

The accused has been identified as,John Egwuatu Chinedu,28,Vincent Ejimofor,37,both residents of B Channasandra in Ramamurthynagar.

Sandeep Patil,Joint commissioner of police Crime,said our Anti-Narcotics Wing of CCB,police inspector,Lakshmikanthaiah received a credible inputs that two Foreign Nationals has stored drugs in their house in Ramamurthynagar and are selling to their clients.

Acting on the information Inspector and his team rushed to the spot and raided the house rented by John,and detained the duo and during search the team seized the drugs.

The seized drugs including around 60 grams of Cocaine and more than 10 grams of Ecstasy.

During investigation we got to know that John is staying in the city for last three years while Vincent recently came to city from Delhi and stayed in separate house.When we raided John’s house they were together.

A detailed investigation led the accused to confessed the crime and the duo spilled the beans and said they used to supply the drugs for weekend parties attended by businessmen, students and techies.

The cocaine they would sell it to charge Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 for each gram.

The duo even confessed that they have come to India on business visa and over stayed after it got expired.But, they have not produced any documents including Passport.A case under NDPS and Foreigners Act has been registered against the duo in Ramamurthynagar police station and further investigation is on.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Sandeep Patil,DCP Crime-1,KP Ravikumar,ACP Anti-Narcotics Wing, KC Gautam,and his team as PI,Lakshmikanthaiah and other staff has been appreciated for the exemplary work done by them who has successfully nabbed the notorious Nigerian National drug peddlers and seized drugs worth Rs.15 Lakhs from them and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
