Demand for affordable housing to increase post COVID-19

As we all know that global coronavirus has affected the global economy but the realty sector has found the solution to overcome the impact. Now people do not have to make much effort to buy a house. Everything starting from site visits to registry will be virtual. Now those who have not even thought of purchasing house are planning to have their own house.

Speaking on the same Mr. Rajat Goel, Joint Managing Director, MRG World said, “There will be an increase in demand for affordable housing after COVID 19 as those who are from other states and are working in Delhi Gurugram & living in rented house have faced many difficulties during lockdown and many of them have migrated. Such buyers are now planning to have their own house and approaching us through online medium including WhatsApp, direct calling and mails.”

Mr. Goel further said that now the developers will also take special care while finishing their projects. It will include proper sanitation at the entry gates; availability of all the necessities in the society like fruits, vegetables, ration, medicine, cleaning goods, stationary and so on. Medical check-up of meds, guards and other employees will be mandatory once a month.

To take advantage of this opportunity, developers are also adopting effective ways to interact with buyers and reach their plans, offers and other such details through SMS, WhatsApp, mail and calling to the maximum.
