A total of 399 people back from Wuhan, China including 7 persons from Maldives 1 from Bangladesh are being looked after at Chhawla facility of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) by the expert team of Doctors and medical professionals. 5 persons shifted yesterday to Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi as a precautionary shift is stable. 2 more persons shifted today to AIIMS for individual medical (Hypertension) reasons (This is not linked to any symptoms of infection of Corona Virus).
Periodical checkups being done as per medical protocol. Sampling of 406 people done and sent for laboratory test. Samples of 104 persons ware today found negative. Samples of remaining 302 persons have been sent for test; whose result is awaited.
No fresh symptoms seen till now. Food, bed and other basic requirements are catered. Sufficient amount of medicines are also kept at the centre. Inmates playing Indoor games like Carom, Ludo, Chess and Teble Tennis available at the ITBP centre. People are updating themselves with news and information with the Wi Fi facility available at the Centre.
4 isolation beds are also kept ready in case of any situation arises. 4 Critical care Life support Ambulances are also available at the centre.
