Some people are trying to create confusion in the society but they will not succeed – Prakash Javadekar

Union Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar today apprised the people about the Citizenship Amendment Act at Madrasi Camp, Shanti Vihar, Moti Bagh under the Public Awareness Campaign. Former MLA Shri Karan Singh Tanwar, Pradesh Spokesperson Smt. Teena Sharma, District President Shri Bharat Bhushan Madan, Shri Anil Sharma, Mandal President Shri Ram Singh, Shri Anil Yadav and Yuva Morcha Mandal President Shri Rahul Kannojia alongwith District and Mandal Office bearers were present on this occasion.

Addressing the people in the Madrasi Camp, Shri Prakash Javadekar said that Citizenship Amendment Act is for providing Citizenship to the refugees and not for depriving any person of Citizenship. People of all the religious communities, Hindu-Muslims live in Madrasi Camps and I feel very happy in talking to them because I found that they have no misconception about it but some people are deliberately creating misconception and mispropaganda in society.

Shri Javadekar said that the persons spreading rumors regarding CAA are not the well wishers of the country. 130 crore people of the country are welcoming this law because this law does not affect any citizen born in India yet some people are trying to create confusion among the society but they will not succeed.
