Highlights from the final day of India Runway Week summer 2019

Runway Week had the amazing
lineup of all days.
 Third day was mostly ruled by
menswear collection
 Celebrating Summer weddings, finale
was done by Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor.

New Delhi, 31March, 2019; India Runway Week continued to please everyone
on the 3rd day of the fashion extravaganza.The day was filled with designers
showcasing their Spring Summer collection. Finale show saw Anjalee Arjun
Kapoor presenting Summer bride  on the ramp of India Runway Week. Finale
collection was extremely detailed bejeweled bustier and was well coordinated
with the sarees and lehangas.
Here are the standout shows from the day you need to know about
Day 3 was opened by young and aspiring designers at Main Show Area
by Vidya Institute of Fashion and Technology which was also a knowledge
partner of the event. Students of the university showcase their creativity and
talent on the ramp.
Second was the budding designer  show in the Brooder Runway. The second
show was opened by  Vidhi Verma who lauched her couture collection “Bliss”
This collection showcase ablend of ethnic grandeur and chic contemporary
trends with impeccable style in a manner that expresses cutting edge. . The
second designer in same show was Pooja Singh showcased collection on
Indian weddings, jamborees and festivities of today have unfurled
revolutionary leaps in trends of attire and accouter. The third designer
showcased Suushmita Kept in tune with the floral collection, and her
collection had colours like lilacs, pinks with a hint of gold. Saurabh & Shena ‘s
new collection  was well defined by its craftmenship. Hand painted, applique
with hand-dyed chiffons & jorgette over layered by the finest zardozi, pearls,
rhinestones& colorful resham threads.
The third show presented by John miller which was curated by Designer
Akaash K aggarwal,  Stylist Parul Gauba and Blogger Babita Yadav. The
idea of this show was to present menswear collection of daily wear in three

different prospective. And all the three individuals did a fabulous job to present
the John Miller cloths on the ramp.
The fourth show of the day was started by Rana’s by Kshitija who
showcased the beauty of Royal Indian Wear for the contemporary women of
today, reflecting tranquility, peace and charm. The collection was dedicated to
all the young women to celebrate their beauty and youth. Regal flowy
silhouettes embellished with intricate fine handwork reflect the charm, grace
and innocence of the collection theme “maiden”. “Stay Wild, Moon Child”
Collection of Saaj by Ankitamade you dive into an eclectic quirky inner-
kingdom of a girl. We all have that sacred place deep inside our conscious
where we feel like it is our heaven, our place of inner-peace. It is the core
around which the personality is shaped. Inspiration of this collection arises
from this very ‘nucleus’ and was mirrored into a collection of beautiful
ensembles. The true spirit which is alive, joyous, cheerful and edgy is
reflected in the eclectic use of colour, structure and motifs.
The fifth show was by Cantabil where they showcased their latest collection
of spring summer which included most of the menswear formal outfits along
with formals for women wear.
The pre finale show was two designer show where first show designer
was Raegun by Kamran Patel where he showcased the work from the region
of Ajrakhpur, Kutch mastered by only one community “the Khatris” The
meticulously handcrafted block printed designs were blended with sharp cuts,
straight and flowy silhouettes. The other designer in the same show was Nitya
Bajaj showcased Summer Resort 2019 collection named SPOT which arrived
with its utmost vibrancy.Exploring the vivid palette of Ochre Yellow, Lilac,
Fuchsia and Aquamarine, the collection is fun, Flirty and fresh .
The Grand Finale show was Inspired by Rich culture heritage of India,
the finale amped up interpretation and imagination of the audience. The
audience witness different Blouse forms in the finale show and they added
character to the outfit and speaks volumes of the wearer’s style. Anjalee &
Arjun Kapoor presented a fabulous couture collection.
