New Delhi, 04th March 2019 : After the grand success of our 22nd  Parampara Series – The National festival of Music and  Dance in the month of August, 2018, last year we embarked on our journey of yet another Annual Festival, Maha Shivaratri in Ode of Lord Shiva – the creator of Dance.

Natya Tarangini and Dr(s) Raja-Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy commenced with yet another series of their Annual Festival – ‘Maha Shivaratri’ with an intention to bring artists and art lovers together to give their offering to Lord Shiva.

Last year, the festival had featured artists like Malini Awasthi, O S Arun, Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar, Parshwanath S. UpadhyeNalini & Kamini, Parshwanath, and more.

Natya Tarangini is organising ‘Maha Shivaratri’ Festival on Monday the 04th  of March, 2019 from 7.30 pm till 1 am at ‘Raja Radha Rangmanch’ – NT’s own Amphitheatre located in Saket, New Delhi.  As always, Natya Tarangini has ensured that the art lovers thoroughly enjoy the performances from the most sought-after artists of the current time.

The Artist performed were Pandit Rajan Sajan Misra (Indian Classical Music), Swapnokalpa Dasgupta (Odissi Dance), Hari & Chethana (Kathak Dance) & Amrita Lahiri (Kuchipudi Dance).

There was an exhibition happened for the first time during Mahashivratri concert named “Meditation”, in search of your inner being, a reflective journey by artists in search of a spiritual realm, art searching truths of life and the universe. The show includes works by senior masters, contemporary and traditional artists who have touched the theme of reflection and meditation featuring- M F Hussain, Thota Vaikuntham, K G Subramanyan,
