A big step of Noida’s residential Society towards Swachh India

Authority has installed Green Waste Reprocessor (GWR) machine  in Government Officers Colony in Sector 14A, Noida   to convert the society’s organic waste such as leftover food, horticulture waste etc. into organic compost which can be used in fertilizing the gardens of the society. The machine has been inaugurated by Smt. Mohini Prasad, Wife of Sh. Mahesh Prasad, Retired IAS Officer. Noida Authority Chairman and CEO, Mr Alok Tandon and other senior officials of NOIDA Authority also graced the occasion. This move is aimed at reprocessing waste within the society premises itself.

These Green Waste Reprocessing Machines are manufactured by Clean India Ventures, a Delhi based company. Abhishek Gupta, Director, Clean India Ventures says, Organic Waste constitutes 60 to 70% of the total urban waste. GWR machine is very easy to install and operate and  is widely acclaimed for reprocessing the waste at the source of waste generation. Many residential societies, municipalities, hotels, gardens and military mess, and temples have installed the machine to smoothly deal with the different kinds of organic waste produced within their campus.
