Notorious Serial Hoax Bomb threat caller Arrested by Karnataka International Airport Police.

Man arrested for making hoax bomb threat calls to Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli.
The accused has been identified as Adithya Rao (34),a resident of Manipal in Udupi.
The accused has made two hoax calls citing bomb has been placed in airport parking lot or in lobby area and another call he made to City Railway Station citing there is a bomb placed in Railway Station parking area.
Adithya Rao the accused made his first hoax call on August 20th.He called the airport’s tele enquiry number and said,There is bomb in your Airport it may be at the parking or lobby area it will explode before 11 pm.He made another hoax call to the AirAsia counter from his mobile and told them there was a bomb in the flight from Kochi to Hyderabad.His next call was to the Terminal duty manager.Rao told him that bombs had been planted in flights to Mumbai,Coimbatore and Delhi.
Senior officer told reporters that,Adithya Rao had called the terminal manager at the airport here twice during the last 15 days to claim that a bomb had been planted at the airport parking space. Later he called to say that the bomb had been planted on the way to parking.Based on the call,security at the airport had been tightened.Two days later, Adithya reportedly called the krantivara sangoli rayana railway station to say that a bomb was to set off in a train soon.Thereafter he again called the airport to tell them that the bomb in question in fact was present inside an aircraft.It is also claimed that he had called the railway station once to threaten them to detonate the bomb there.After Kempe Gowda International Airport Limited police took him into custody and questioned him, he also confessed to have made threat calls to the city railway station.During interrogation, he said that he applied for a job as a security guard at the airport, but was denied the job. It was odd for someone with his qualifications to apply for the post of a security guard.As the airport authorities denied him a job, he wanted to make them pay for it.Later he made a similar call to the Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station in the city on Monday. The accused reportedly picked a quarrel with officials at the KSR railway station as well over payment for using the cloak room.Because of his calls,several flights were suspended at the airport and the authority said they have suffered huge losses.The police began tracking his telephone number in view of the seriousness of the issue and found out his location on Tuesday and nabbed him from his residence and they have seized two mobile phones and SIM Cards from his possession he added.
Unemployment was reason for the calls.
DCP Northeast,Kala Krishnamurthy told media persons,KIAL had received two bomb threats in the recent days.We have caught the accused who made these hoax calls.The accused has been identified as Adithya who hails from Manipal.He is a qualified engineer with an MBA too.According to his statement he was working at a restaurant for a while.He was then looking for a change but he did not get any job so he resorted to making hoax calls.He has confessed that he had applied for a security guard job at the international airport but after he failed to get this job,he felt like causing trouble.He also confessed to making a hoax call at the railway station a few days back and we have produced him before the magistrate and the court has remanded him to police custody and with his arrest we have solved totally five cases KIA Police stations 2 cases,City Railway Station,Jayanagar and Sudduguntepalya Police stations 1 each cases have been detected and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,T.Suneel Kumar,has appreciated Addl CP East, Seemanth Kumar Singh,DCP Northeast,Kala Krishnamurty,ACP,Murali H.S.PI,KIA,Police station,Manjunath and his whole crime staff who has done a tremendous job with the technical support and nabbed the notorious Prankster he added.
