Alert traffic constable on duty near N R Road foils a Robbery by nabbing the notorious attention diversion offender.
Attention diversion offender caught red handed by good Samaritan vigilant cop of VV Puram Traffic constable Prashanth.
The accused has been identified as Suresh,23,year old resident of Chennai and a associate of attention diversion gang.
Senior officer, told media persons that on Monday evening,The businessman stepped out carrying a bag on kalasipalya main road near N R Road.As he walked away from the car, a man began following him and also dropped a few currency notes near his feet and says the businessman that your money has fallen down so the businessman started searching his pocket
While the businessman began searching his pockets to see if it was indeed his money, the man grabbed his bag and started running away.Immediately the businessman raised an alarm and started shouting for help,immediately our constable Prashanth attached to VV Puram Traffic Police station who was on duty near N R Road rushed to victim for his help and noticed that the thief has grabbed his bag and was running he chased the thief and pinned him down and caught the thief red handed and recovered the bag from him.Later the accused and the bag was handed over to the jurisdictional Kalasipalaya police.The police have identified the suspect as Suresh, a native of Chennai,while his associate managed to escape and he is a member of attention diversion gang which comes to city from tamilnadu and rob people by diverting their attention and the good Samaritan work by vigilant constable has foiled a robbery a case has been registered in Kalasipalya Police station and further investigation is on and manhunt is on to nab the absconding accused and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,T Suneel Kumar,Addl CP Traffic,R Hitendra,DCP Traffic West,T.P.Shivakumar,ACP Traffic South,Thimmaiah,PI,Diwakar and other police officials lauded the vigilant and brave constable for his good work and alertness who has done a tremendous job by nabbing the dreaded gang member he added.
