29th April 2018, Mumbai : Swati Mehrotra was awarded as the “Best Footwear Designer” at 16th DadaSaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards.The DadaSaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards 2018 recently took place at Chitrakoot ground. It is one of the most prestigious awards in Indian cinema and is the highest official recognition for film personalities in the country. Many eminent personalities were spotted at the event– Celebrated directors, musicians, technicians and actors from both film and television industry.

Brand even earned visibility in Cannes with award winning recycled tyre shoes, swatimodo won best footwear designer Award from HOP,IFFD and IIFT and has been Brand ambassador for Ghaziabad city. Swati also teaches students of fashion collages and is on board with Marwah fashion school.Her works for giving back to society can not be ignored from teaching the inmates of Tihar jail the art of shoe making to supporting women upliftment and even she recently supported the Acid attack Survivors, a society run by Lakshmi saa. Swati has numerous Accolades in her kitty where recent Feather added was Nagrik Samman by jaycees club International for her outstanding contribution in field of Footwear her recent feather is An Award by President of India Shri Pranab Mukherji as top #100 women of nation.
