From Sitalkuchi in the north to Kultali in the south, Habra in North 24 Parganas and Maybeshwar in Birbhum are also not left out. The Congress has been accused of bombing in front of the TMC candidate’s house in Sitalkuchi. Left activists have been accused of attacking tmc workers with sharp weapons for not taking CPI(M) voter slips.In Birbhum, a CPI(M) candidate and his brothers in the area have been accused of hurling bombs at the Trinamool candidate. The Congress, however, denied the allegations of bombing.In Kultali, left activists have been accused of attacking a TMC worker with sharp weapons for not taking the CPI(M)’s voter slip. The son was attacked when he tried to save his father. The incident took place at Kundkhali Gadabar village in Kultali. Tmc worker Amoy Sardar and his son Biswajit Sardar were injured. As soon as he came out of the house, Amoy Sardar was beaten with a sharp weapon. At that time, his son Biswajit was returning home. When he tried to save his father, he also allegedly stabbed his son with a sharp weapon. Six to seven CPI(M) and BJP-backed miscreants allegedly attacked them. The injured Amoy and Biswajit started shouting and the family and people from the area rushed to the spot. The attackers immediately fled the spot. The injured TMC worker was rescued by his family members and admitted to Jamtala Rural Hospital in Kultali.At that time, the brother of Sajirul Sheikh, the CPI(M) candidate in the same parliament, and his men came and hurled a bomb at him. When he ran home from there, he allegedly hurled two more bombs there as well. The TRINAMOOL candidate alleged that the CPI(M) candidate’s brother and his party men hurled the bomb with the intention of killing him.
