A long with culture there must be experiments in Rangayana,a Kannada Repertory, reflecting Indianism, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Such new experiments will give a new dimension to Rangayana.Besides, such experiments will help bring changes in life of people through new thinking and varied efforts. The government will take necessary steps regarding the space and more funds.

Dramas effects medium

Bommai said the Rangayana must become an inclusive theatre Repertory with new thinking for the new generation. It must bring to the fore issues which are nearer to truth and life in ideology. What cannot be told in words are shown in action and that is the uniqueness of the theatres.

Acting must be realistic

The CM said Kannada actor Ramesh Arvind manages all the roles easily and has maintained innocence till date.

Realistic acting is quite difficult. We have self imposed certain things in their lives. Our innocence in the childhood days will not there once they grow big.

When artificiality comes the reality goes away. It is very difficult to live to conscience and only a few achievers can do it”.

Clarity in plays

He said experiments must go in in Rangayana on humanity. The plays must come on the shortfalls in the society and it’s corrective measures as well as the subjects of reality.

As Mysuru has its own status as a heritage city, the Rangayana has also an important status. But there has been clash of ideology. But where there is no clash of ideology, there will be no new thinking and liveliness.

Minister S.T.Somashekhar, film actor Ramesh Arvind and Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha and others were present.
