Mandya:A woman who had been surviving by begging was found to have left behind more than Rs.30 lakh in cash at her rented house in Guttalu locality of Mandya city,leaving locals and relatives shocked.
The deceased has been identified as Hoor Unnisa,who had been living alone since the death of her sister two years ago.

She reportedly survived by begging at various places in the city and died recently due to age-related illness.
Following her death,locals and relatives performed her last rites.
When they later went to her rented house,they reportedly found more than 30 sacks containing currency notes and coins.
The cash was counted in the presence of locals and relatives,and the amount was reportedly found to be over Rs 30 lakh.
The money is currently said to be in the custody of a local mosque,while her relatives have been informed.
The discovery has sparked discussion among locals, with many expressing surprise that a woman who lived alone and depended on begging had accumulated such a large amount of cash.
The incident reportedly occurred under the jurisdiction of Mandya East Police Station.
