Two Delivery Executives Arrested in record time by Yelahanka police for Harassing Woman on public road

Two individuals have been arrested for allegedly behaving indecently and harassing a young woman on a public road in North Bengaluru.

The incident occurred on April 21, 2026,in the afternoon, within the limits of Yelahanka Police Station.

The victim was walking near Kogilu Main Road in Maruthinagar when two unidentified youths approached her on a two-wheeler and allegedly misbehaved with her, causing harassment.

A video of the incident later surfaced on social media through an Instagram account named“Namma Bengaluru,”prompting police to take cognisance and register a case.

During the investigation,police traced the accused using the registration number of the two-wheeler involved.

Notices were issued,and on April 23, 2026,both accused appeared before the Yelahanka Police Station along with the vehicle used in the offence.

They were taken into custody and, during interrogation, reportedly confessed to their involvement in the incident. Police said the accused are employed as delivery executives with Big basket in Avalahalli.Further investigation is underway.

Vehicles are meant for safe and smooth travel, not for causing inconvenience.Such acts are punishable offenses.If anyone is found involved in such activities, strict legal action will be taken against them said Mithun GK DCP Northeast and appreciated whole team.
