Four Woman rescued from prostitution racket in Bengaluru,4 woman pimp arrested by CCB

Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested four women for allegedly forcing other women into prostitution across multiple locations in the city.

Acting on specific intelligence,the CCB’s Women Protection Squad identified three rented houses being used for illegal activities in Manuvana in Vijayanagar, Ramaswamipalya Main Road near Karumariyamma Temple in Banaswadi,and Andrahalli Main Road in Veerabhadreshwara Nagar under Byadarahalli limits.

Raids were conducted on different days earlier this week,during which four women were rescued.Among them,two were from other states, officer said.

The accused women,who allegedly acted as pimps,were taken into custody.

During interrogation,they reportedly confessed to luring customers over the phone and arranging meetings at the rented houses with the intention of making quick money.

Cases have been registered at Vijayanagar,Banaswadi, and Byadarahalli police stations.

The arrested women were produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody.
