School Bus Hits A Two Wheeler In Thanisandra;2 and 4 Year Old Children Killed
Two young children of police personnel were killed when a school bus knock down the scooter they were riding near the police quarters at Thanisandra under the Hennur Traffic Police Station limits on Tuesday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Varsha (2), daughter of CAR constable Naganagowda,and Banu (4), niece of Naganagowda and daughter of his elder brother.
Senior officer visited the spot and after collecting information told,Naganagouda,who serves as a constable in the City Armed Reserve (CAR),was riding a scooter to buy milk from a grocery shop,carrying the two children with him.
The accident occurred near the Thanisandra police quarters when an hegemony global School bus while taking a turn knock down the scooter .
On impact,the children,who were seated on the front side of the scooter,fell onto the road slipped under the moving wheels and ran over,resulting in grievous injuries.
Both children died on the spot.
The entire incident was captured on the CCTV installed at a near-by house.Naganagouda sustained minor injuries in the accident and admitted to the hospital .
The Hennur traffic police rushed to the scene and conducted an inspection.The police have arrested the driver charging him under death due to negligence,rash and negligent driving for further investigations.
