The city Market police have registered an FIR against scooterist for pasting a sticker on the registration number plates to avoid penalty.
The incident came to light when City Market traffic police Sub Inspector Madan Henry who was on rounds noticed registeration number plates of Suzuki Access covered with stickers on both sides parked in the KR market police station limits near Sugarcane market.
The alert policeman recorded the violations on his mobile phone and alerted the city market police.
Based on the complaint the police registered an FIR and arrested the vehicle owner and released on bail and even seized the bike for further investigation said a senior officer.
