The Siddapura police on Tuesday arrested a 26-year-old domestic help and recovered rupees seven lakh worth gold valuables which she had stolen and pawned at a jewel shop .
The accused Puja,from Nepal had joined the work at an apartment in Jayanagar 1st block.After two months she stopped coming to work when the employer and the family had gone out of station.
The theft came to light when the family returned and checked the wardrobe to find the gold valuables were missing .
Based on the complaint,the police track down the accused who by then had vacated the house and shifted her location to Banaswadi where she was working in another house as domestic help .
