Fake Surety Racket Busted by Halasurgate police eight arrested for creating fake documents to provide surety to accused to secure bail

The Halasurgate police following a lead from the 4th additional metropolitan Magistrate court officials,busted a fake surety racket and arrested a gang of eight people who are creating fake documents to provide surety for the accused arrested in different cases .

The racket came to light when court officials,caught a man appeared for the surety with fake land records and handed him over to the police seeking detailed probe.

Based on his information,the police,track down the other gang members identified as Rafiq,35,Praveen Kumar,32, Abhishek,33,Govinda Nayak,37,Dore Raj,32,Abid Waseem,48,Ahmed Zubair,23 and Govinda Raju,32.

The police have seized 47 fake Aadhar cards,122 fake seals from different department,stamp papers,pen drive and seven mobile phones from them.

According to the police,the accused working as middlemen in revenue office premises source the land documents from the people coming for various work and get photocopies from the shops in and around.

The accused fabricate the documents to create government with the Biometrics of the accused to be used for the surety.

The accused would charge 50,000 to 1 lakh depending upon the case, the officer,said .

The police are further investigating to ascertain the possible involvement of others in the case .
