The Soladevanahalli police have initiated probe to track down the person who sent a hoax mail to Acharya college on Tuesday.
Based on the complaint by Manish Kumar thakur,Chief Operating Officer of the college,the police have registered an FIR against unknown person,charging him under section 351(4) (criminal intimidation committed anonymously or with precautions to hide the identity of the threatener) for further investigations.
The police are now trying to track down the accused through the IP address where the mail is generated.
According to the complaint,the accused have informed that bomb has been placed and will be exploded the mail also threatened to chop off the head of the principal and place the head in the refrigerator,the complainant, said .
The complainant added that the mail could possibly be part of the fishing or trying to create nuisance.
