Incidents of alleged rowdyism have resurfaced at the Jnanabharathi campus in Kengeri,where a group of hostel students reportedly assaulted a fellow student in the early hours of Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 1.30 am outside the PG-3 hostel.

The victim,Abhishek,a third-semester Geography student, was allegedly attacked by Arun and his associates over a trivial issue related to drinking water.
According to reports,the altercation began when Abhishek’s friend went to a nearby room to drink water, which led to a confrontation.
When Abhishek intervened to question the assault on his friend,Arun and his group allegedly turned on him and carried out a brutal attack.
The accused have been identified as Arun,Deekshit, Vinay,Akshay and their associates.The entire incident was reportedly captured on CCTV cameras.
Sources said that Arun,the prime accused,already has multiple cases registered against him at Jnanabharathi police station.There are also allegations that he had brought outsiders to participate in the assault.
The injured student has lodged a complaint with the university administration,and a case has also been registered at Jnanabharathi police station.
The incident has raised serious concerns over campus safety and the alleged failure of the university administration to curb rising incidents of violence, despite previous cases.
