CCB ANW Wing arrested Drug Peddlers seizes 332 Kg Ganja with 3.8 Kg MDMA,worth Rs.7.5 Crores Allegedly concealed in vegetable consignment & Chocolate covers

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking,the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested a accused for allegedly transporting ganja concealed in a vegetable consignment.

The accused, identified as Ravi Kumar,27,a truck driver, was transporting the contraband from Rajahmundry to Chamarajanagar district.

Based on credible information,officials from the Narcotics wing of Bengaluru City Crime Branch conducted a raid on Sunday afternoon near Nayandahalli Metro Station.

During the operation,police seized 333 kilograms of ganja worth approximately Rs.3.57 crore from a container truck.

The accused had allegedly concealed the narcotics in a manner similar to transporting vegetables to evade detection.

Investigations revealed that the consignment was being transported along the route from Rajahmundry to Bengaluru, via Mysuru and Malavalli,before heading towards Chamarajanagar.

The police have seized the vehicle used for transporting the drugs and have launched further investigation to identify other individuals involved in the network.

Notorious Drug Peddler arrested in Upparpet police station limits and seized 3.9 Kg MDMA worth Rs.3.80 Crore concealed in chocolate covers in city

In another incident The CCB ANW wing officials and his team have arrested a drug peddler who was allegedly distributing narcotics concealed in chocolate covers in the city.

The accused,identified as Kiran,a native of Bidar,was reportedly sourcing drugs from Delhi and selling them in Bengaluru.

Senior officer told reporters that the accused was waiting in the Gandhinagar area under the Upparpet police limits to deliver drugs to a customer when he was apprehended based on credible information.

During the operation,police seized 3.9 kilograms of MDMA valued at approximately Rs.3.80 Crores from the accused.

Further investigation is underway to trace the supply network and identify other individuals involved in the illegal trade.
